It’s rare that you come across a standout like Noel. Ridiculously efficient is the phrase that comes to mind when I think of Noel. Noel expertly filled the role of a proactive developer who took initiative to solve problems when product requirements were either lackluster or insufficient. Though I've only worked for a short time with Noel, and our work overlapped only occasionally, it's impossible not to offer an enthusiastic recommendation of him and the work he does. Noel is a deeply focused and curious engineer, always intent on unearthing the right solution for a problem, not simply a solution that'll "work for now". He's thoughtful about his recommendations, and very good at educating his team members about the process that led him to those recommendations. There's a short hop from his suggesting a solution and his having built and tested that solution. I trust his work because a great deal of care goes into it, and it's been a real pleasure working together. I'm going to miss him, but I can't wait to see what he does next.
